Fried Cauliflower
This is a tasty side-dish which may be served hot or cold.
Ingredients:
- 1 cauliflower
- Vegetable Oil
- Salt and Lemon to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the cauliflower into florets and wash them. Each piece of cauliflower should be about the size of your thumb.
- Fry the cauliflower in the vegetable oil over medium-high heat, taking care to brown each piece on all of its sides. Tip: Make sure the cauliflower is dry before frying in order to minimize splattering.
- As the cauliflower gets done, transfer it to paper towels or paper bags in order to let any excess oil drain.
- Put the cauliflower in a serving dish and top with salt and fresh lemon juice to taste.
Cauliflower with Sesame Sauce
A heavier variation of this dish is to fry the cauliflower as desrcibed above, to drain its excess oil and transfer the cauliflower to a saucepan. Add Tahina Sauce (see recipe) over the top of the cauliflower and cook until the sauce thickens a bit. Serve hot with rice and Enjoy!
